Ray holds a Masters Degree in Financial Planning & Business Management and is a Fellow of The Personal Finance Society. He is Managing Director of Money Minder, a long standing, well reputed, Chartered Financial Planning firm providing Independent Financial Advice. He is also the founder of the innovative financial comparison and guidance website www.money-minder.com, a recommended provider to www.moneysavingexpert.com since 2010.
He has become an expert commentator on all aspects of financial planning appearing in both local and national newspapers, personal finance websites, as well as on radio. He has been heard on BBC Radio on many occasions being interviewed about financial planning matters and answering callers questions on a range of different financial subjects.
Ray has been providing expert comment to the national newspapers such as The Financial Times, The Independent, The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Sunday Express, The Sun, The Daily Mirror and The Eastern Daily Press for many years now. He has also been quoted in websites like www.thisismoney.co.uk, www.whatinvestment.co.uk, www.yourmoney.com and has been a regularly featured in the national personal finance related subscription magazine Money Wise.
Since 2004, Money Minder has been the provider of Retirement Planning Workshops for the NHS. Ray has been the main speaker for the workshops. They have been provided for employees of the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust and the former Foundation Trust and Primary Care Trust.
Ray began his financial services career in 1992 with Prudential and after seven successful years he left to start Money Minder with his wife Karron in 1999 and now employs a highly skilled team serving clients nationwide. Together they provide a first class service to their clients providing investment and pensions advice on growing millions of pounds worth of clients life savings that continue to be entrusted to Money Minders care and guidance.
